AcquaFresca by Pilu is a casual Italian trattoria by renowned Italian Chef, Giovanni Pilu, and his team from Freshwater.
The menu draws from Giovanni Pilu's upbringing on the island of Sardinia and his journey through the regions of Italy. This magnificent Italian island is surrounded by turquoise waters, beautiful beaches and abundance of fresh fish, seafood, and great produce.
The menu contains an array of simple, Italian dishes based of flavour and fresh, high quality ingredients cooked in the traditional, rustic way like they do back in Sardinia.
It contains all your favourites with quite a few must try dishes. Start your experience at Acquafresca with a selection off their extensive antipasti list, pasta, secondi (mains), pizza and to finish off, dolce (desserts).
Meals are carefully crafted on site using the freshest ingredients. Their pasta is made daily and bread including delicious, focaccia and moorish pizza dough is produced from organic flour, taking over 48 hours to produce.
Italians are known to be lively and passionate particularly about their food. Many of the courses are designed to be shared the traditional way, bringing everyone on the table together.
AcquaFresca by Pilu also offers a range of Italian and local Australian wines and of selection of Italian cocktails and aperitifs. These include Italian wine-based spitz, classic negronis, along with local and artisan beers.
Open for lunch and dinner, reservations are recommended due to COVID19 venue restrictions.
